Message from CEO: Growing Our Talent

In 2011, ISS Solutions’ talent pool grew by 21%. Our 285-person team now ensures the safety and compliance of more than 100,000 medical devices, maximizes the uptime of tens of thousands of critical computing resources, purchases hundreds of IT products each month, and resolves hundreds of contact center calls each day.

In 2011, our clinical engineering business completed two acquisitions and established regional operations in New England, the Midwest, and the Southeast. We added two executives to our ranks: a Vice President of Clinical Engineering for clients other than our parent, Geisinger Health System, and a Vice President of Clinical Engineering Quality, to make sure our systems and processes keep ahead of our growth. Further, we added more than 100 new clinical engineering clients.

Our contact center was busy, too, almost doubling in size. Our contact center is now comprised of two major locations: one at our corporate headquarters in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and the other in New Jersey. In our IT business, we added a key director to define and rollout our managed print services (MPS) business.

One of our challenges in 2012 is to manage our growth while continuing to recruit, develop, and retain our talent. To help us do that, we’ve invested in a recruitment technology solution (, participated in new employee engagement surveys, and increased our investment in communication and leadership training.
